Why You’ll Love This Recipe
These Garlic Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls combine everything we love about a classic grilled cheese but with an extra twist:
Easy to Make for a Crowd: This recipe is easy to scale up for parties or get-togethers.
Sweet and Savory Fusion: Hawaiian rolls offer a subtle sweetness that complements the garlic and cheese beautifully.
Gooey Cheese Pulls: We’re using a mix of cheeses for that ultimate melt factor.
Ingredients:
- 1 package Hawaiian rolls
- Cheese sliced, any variety (I used cheddar)
- 2 TBSP Butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp Italian herbs
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
Instructions:
1. Slice the Rolls in Half Lengthwise
2. Layer the Cheese
- Sprinkle a generous layer of cheese over the bottom half of the rolls. You can add more for an extra cheesy effect!
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
3. Mix the Garlic Butter
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter with garlic, herbs, and onion salt. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Brush the garlic butter generously on the inside of both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
4. Bake Until Gooey
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
5. Serve and Enjoy
- Once the rolls are baked, take them out and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve them hot and enjoy that melty, garlicky deliciousness!
