Creamy Dijon Chicken Skillet
I love a good creamy chicken dish during the fall months. This dish is simple, few ingredients and fantastic flavor. Serve it with a side salad or a side of rice!

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs (boneless or bone in)
- steamed broccoli
- 1/2 C milk
- 1/2 C half & half OR heavy cream
- 2 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1 1/2 T Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start by adding butter to a pan and melt. Add the chicken thighs to the pan, season with salt and pepper on both sides and sear 7 minutes on both sides. Set the chicken aside.

- Add the garlic and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the flour and mix well. Slowly pour in the milk and cream, Dijon mustard and remaining seasonings, mix well and let the sauce thicken.

- Once thickened, add chicken thighs back in and let cook for another 5-10 minutes. Through in the steamed broccoli and serve as is or over rice!
