Pumpkin bread and cream cheese put together?! Say no more! The combo is SO GOOD and truly a no fail for anyone that doesn’t bake regularly like myself!
I am using a pumpkin bread pre mix that I picked up from Trader Joe’s but have a homemade pumpkin mix recipe for you as well! Courtesy of my mama!
Let’s get started!
Ingredients
Method
- 1. Preheat oven to 350. If using boxed pumpkin mix, follow the box direction for mixing up the pumpkin bread.2. If making homemade version, start by combining pumpkin, egg, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Fold in the pumpkin spice, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt just until just combined.3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese ingredients together.4. In a greased loaf pan, add half of the pumpkin mixture. Pour cream cheese mixture on top and take a knife to swirl it around. Pour the remaining pumpkin mix on top.5. Bake at 350 for or 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from loaf pan.6. Enjoy!
Wait, WHAT?!?! Is this your Mom’s and Auntie’s recipe from this weekend? 🎉 Going to try it from scratch version ( with gluten free flours) Thank you Ashlee 😊
