- Preheat oven to 400. In an oven safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat then add onion, garlic, potatoes and frozen veggies – sauté 10 minutes.2. Sprinkle the flour on top and stir till combined well. Slowly whisk in the cream, chicken broth and milk. Add the seasonings – salt, pepper, thyme and poultry.3. Stir in the chicken. Roll out the pie crust and place on top of mixture.4. Brush with a beaten egg, cut some slits in the dough and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.5. Remove from oven and let cool to desired temperature.6. Enjoy!
