- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 C onion, diced
- 2 C frozen veggies
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1/4 C flour
- 1 C heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 C milk
- 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, dried thyme, poultry seasoning
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 C diced cooked chicken
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 C chicken broth
Preheat oven to 400. In an oven safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat then add onion, garlic, potatoes and frozen veggies - sauté 10 minutes.2. Sprinkle the flour on top and stir till combined well. Slowly whisk in the cream, chicken broth and milk. Add the seasonings - salt, pepper, thyme and poultry.3. Stir in the chicken. Roll out the pie crust and place on top of mixture.4. Brush with a beaten egg, cut some slits in the dough and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.5. Remove from oven and let cool to desired temperature.6. Enjoy!
