Lavender Iced Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp lavender syrup * see notes!
  • Choice of milk
  • 1/4 cup half n half
  • Ice

Method
 

  1. In a glass add the instant coffee, water and 1 tbsp of the lavender syrup. Froth it really well. Add in your ice and choice of milk.
  2. In a small cup add your half n half and the other tbsp of lavender syrup. Froth until thick and pour on top.
  3. Notes

    Lavender Simple syrup
    Combine equal parts sugar and water to a pot, I usually do 1 cup of each. Then I add in 2 tbsp of culinary dried lavender. Let it simmer, remove from heat and let cool. Strain the lavender out and store in an airtight container, it will keep in the fridge for up to a month.
