Method
- Start by soaking your almonds for up to 6 hours. Once soaked, strain and rinse. Add the almonds to a high speed blender. Add in the dates, vanilla and water. I use a Vitamix which blends really well and I highly recommend.
- Start out on low speed and work your way up to the highest speed. I turn mine on high for a minute and then take it back down to variable. If you do longer than a minute you could heat up the raw milk, so avoid this! I make sure the almonds are pretty fine pieces and then I stop blending.
- Place your nut bag over a pitcher and pour the almond milk in, small batches at a time. Squeeze and repeat. Pour into a drink container and store in the fridge.Enjoy!
