Ornament Filled Sangria
This festive sangria is perfect to serve at ANY holiday gathering- your friends and family will LOVE it!

Ingredients
- 1 orange. sliced
- 1 apple cubed
- 1 Cup cranberries
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 bottle dry red wine (merlot, pino noir, cabernet sauvignon)
- 3/4 cup triple sec
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 2 whole star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Sprigs of rosemary
Instructions
- Add the oranges, apples, cranberries into a pitcher with the sugar
- Use a wooden spoon to stir the sugar into the fruit and gently crush it
- Add wine, triple sec, orange juice and cranberry juice to the pitcher. Add the whole cloves and cinnamon sticks
- Add the water, sugar, cranberries and rosemary to a pot and let simmer. Take off heat, let steep. Remove cranberries and rosemary, let them dry and roll them in sugar.
- Add 1/2 cup of the simple syrup to the mixture.
- Stir and chill at least 4 hours - preferably overnight
- Use a funnel and pour into ornaments, place lid on top
- Serve in a bowl and let your guest grab as they want a drink to pour into a glass
- I like to coat cranberries and rosemary in sugar, place them in a glass and place the ornament in the glass for presentation.
