The flavor of these grilled cheese is unreal and so ridiculously easy to make! Add this to your weekly meal rotation and pair it with your favorite soup! You will not regret it! My homemade tomato soup is my go to with these, you can find the recipe here!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

These Garlic Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls combine everything we love about a classic grilled cheese but with an extra twist:

Easy to Make for a Crowd: This recipe is easy to scale up for parties or get-togethers.

Sweet and Savory Fusion: Hawaiian rolls offer a subtle sweetness that complements the garlic and cheese beautifully.

Gooey Cheese Pulls: We’re using a mix of cheeses for that ultimate melt factor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls
  • Cheese sliced, any variety (I used cheddar)
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1/2 tsp onion salt

Instructions:

1. Slice the Rolls in Half Lengthwise

2. Layer the Cheese

  • Sprinkle a generous layer of cheese over the bottom half of the rolls. You can add more for an extra cheesy effect!
  • Place the top half of the rolls back on.

3. Mix the Garlic Butter

  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter with garlic, herbs, and onion salt. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Brush the garlic butter generously on the inside of both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.

4. Bake Until Gooey

  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

5. Serve and Enjoy

  • Once the rolls are baked, take them out and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve them hot and enjoy that melty, garlicky deliciousness!

I’m so inspired by the WYLDlife Fund. From creating safer wildlife crossings and protecting important habitat to getting kids outside and helping them build a love for Wyoming’s outdoors, they’re turning a shared love for this place into meaningful action. Foundations are doing amazing work like this all across the country.
