Crockpot Cheesesteak Sloppy Joe
Philly cheesesteaks have my heart. I grew up outside of Philly and I have fond memories getting cheesesteaks at my favorite mom and pop shops. I feel like there are many ways to make this Philly staple dish and I love it as a sloppy Joe version.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ cup beef broth
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- Buns for serving
Instructions
- In a pan, sauté the mushrooms and onions in a little oil for 4-5 minutes. Add in the beef and cook until done.
- Transfer to a crockpot. In a bowl, mix the broth, salt, pepper, corn starch and Worcestershire sauce together, pour over top and let cook on low 4-5 hours.
- Once cooked, add sliced cheese on top, place lid to let melt and serve!
