I love a good creamy chicken dish during the fall months. This dish is simple, few ingredients and fantastic flavor. Serve it with a side salad or a side of rice!

Let’s get started!

Total Time 40 minutes mins
Servings: 4
Course: dinner, Main Course
Cuisine: American
Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs boneless or bone in
  • steamed broccoli
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1/2 C half & half OR heavy cream
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 T Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp onion salt
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method

  1. Start by adding butter to a pan and melt. Add the chicken thighs to the pan, season with salt and pepper on both sides and sear 7 minutes on both sides. Set the chicken aside.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the flour and mix well. Slowly pour in the milk and cream, Dijon mustard and remaining seasonings, mix well and let the sauce thicken.
  3. Once thickened, add chicken thighs back in and let cook for another 5-10 minutes. Through in the steamed broccoli and serve as is or over rice!
    Enjoy!

Foundations are doing amazing work like this all across the country.

Grab an inexpensive doormat (I got mine from Walmart for $7!) and just use some cheap $.50 acrylic paint and leftover spray paint obviously your cost will go up. If you do have to buy new spray paint, just white and black though!) create a simple ghost doormat and put it on display.
