Let’s get started!

You know I love anything pickle related and I was dying to try pickle pizza. I made an at home version that DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! It turned out better than I had expected and the proscuitto complimented it so well!

Ingredients:

  • Large sliced dill pickle slices
  • 3 slices prosciutto, shredded
  • 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Flatbread style pizza (I like Trader Joe’s)
  • ½ cup full-fat sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. You can use your own pizza dough for this and assemble as normal. I love Trader Joe’s flatbread pizza and this worked perfect for a quick lunch!
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°. Take your flatbread and place on a baking sheet. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayo, garlic cloves, dried dill and ranch seasonings, salt and pepper to taste. Spread the mixture over the flatbread.
  3. Sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese and then the mozzarella. I did find a Havarti dill cheese at Trader Joe’s that I added and it was AMAZING.
  4. Next place your pickles throughout and then your prosciutto. Place in the oven and bake for 12 min. Take out, cut into small slices and enjoy!
