Airfryer French Fries
Once you make your own fries in the airfryer, you’ll never buy frozen again! So easy to make and you can put whatever seasonings you want on them! Garlic Parmesan, regular salt and pepper, old bay, the creations are endless!
Let’s get started!

Total Time
1 hour 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 large Yukon gold potatoes or russet (or more if you want a large batch)
- avocado oil
- 1-2 T seasonings
Instructions
- Start by cutting your potatoes into thin sticks. Then place in a bowl and cover wirh water. Let the potatoes sit for an hour. (This is key! The water changes the starches and this helps make the potatoes crispy!)
- Drain and dry the potatoes and return to the bowl. Toss the potatoes with oil and seasoning of your choice, just enough to coat! I usually drizzle 3 tablespoons of oil or so on and sprinkle on a generous amount of spices.
- Place the fries in the airfryer basket in one layer. If making a large batch then you will want to cook in batches. Airfry at 400 for 12 minutes. Flip and airfry another 6-7 minutes or until crisp.
- Remove and serve them hot with your favorite sauce! See below for my fry sauce recipe!
Homemade Fry Sauce
