Want to turn your favorite jam into a syrup for coffee, lemonade pancakes and more?! I started turning jams into syrups when I couldn’t find huckleberries! It was easy to find the jam, but not the berries, so I turned the jam into syrup for my coffees and lemonades!

15 oz jar jam of choice
Scoop the jam into a pot over low heat and add in 4-5 tablespoons of water. Whisk and let jam heat up. You’ll start to see the jam become less thick and turn into a syrup consistency. At this point I add a tablespoon of water till I get the consistency I want! Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.

NOTE! If you are using a jam with fruit pieces or seeds I would sift into a jar after cooking!
