I hope you’ve got a coffee or tea in hand and are ready for some fun! I’ve created a space for you to not only stay updated on new shop items, but to find weeknight meals cleaning tips and DIYs.
Doesn’t that title just sound refreshing?! Fresh basil is my jam in the summer! And I can’t get enough of juicy red strawberries! The two together in lemonade is SO GOOD!
I have two versions for you, a concentrate version that’s easy peasy and a homemade version for those that have an abundance of fresh lemons!
Let’s just get to it!
Concentrate Version
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Basil leaves
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 sliced strawberries
1 can lemonade concentrate
4 1/2 cups water
Directions
In a sauce pan combine sugar, water, basil leaves and 2 sliced strawberries. Lightly smash the strawberries to break some of them up. Let the mixture lightly simmer then take off heat and let cool.
In a pitcher, add in the concentrate, 4 1/2 cups of water and cooled simple syrup (with the strawberries and basil in it!)
Give it a good stir, serve over ice!
