Savory Rotel Sausage Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage- mild or spicy
  • 2 C cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies drained well
  • 1 C flour
  • tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheddar cheese, drained Rotel, flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Mix well using your hands until fully combined.
  4. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
