Instant Pot Instructions:
- Place apples in instant pot.
- Add water and spices and set to high pressure for 10 minutes or cook on high for 4-5 hours or until apples are completely soft.
- Release pressure and blend with an immersion blender (easiest way to do this and less mess!) or transfer to a blender and add more water if needed.
Crockpot Version
- 10 Medium-Sized Apples
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- ⅓ Cup to ½ Cups Water (more if you want it less thick)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- You can peel (if desired), and chop your apples into large chunks.
- Add the apples, lemon juice, water, and optional cinnamon and spices to the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours until the apples have broken down.
- You can then mash to completely smooth when done, add to a blender or use an immersion blender.Enjoy!
