- 8 lemons, halved
- 7 cups water, divided
- 2 cups sugar, divided
1. Start by making your simple syrup. In a sauce pan, add in 2 cups of water and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Let it simmer and the sugar melt. Turn off the heat and let cool.2. Fire up the grill to medium heat. Take 1 cup of sugar and place in a bowl. Take your lemons and dip each half into the sugar making sure they get coated. Place your lemons on the grill, sugar side down for 5-6 minutes.3. Take the lemons off the grill and juice into a large pitcher. Fill the pitcher with the simple syrup and 5 cups of water. Give it a stir, fill a glass with ice and enjoy!
