- 1 C milk
- 1/4 C strong coffee
- 2-3 T chestnut simple syrup (see below)
- whipped cream
- pecan topping (see below)
Start by making your chestnut simple syrup. You’ll want 1 1/4 cup water, 3/4 cup sugar (or a few drops of stevia for a sugar free option) 1 T vanilla extract, 6-7 cooks chestnuts, roughly chopped.2. Simmer your syrup, let cool and strain into a container. It will keep in the fridge for up to 3-4 weeks in an airtight container.3. Let’s make the latte! Add milk to a small pot with 2-3 T of the simple syrup (you could honestly go more if you’d like!) let it heat thoroughly but not boil!4. In a mug, add in your coffee. Get your praline topping together, chop up some pecans to a fine chop and mix with brown sugar.5. Froth the milk mixture, add the milk to your mug. Top with whipped cream and the praline mix.6. Enjoy!
