Start by cutting your potatoes into thin sticks. Then place in a bowl and cover wirh water. Let the potatoes sit for an hour. (This is key! The water changes the starches and this helps make the potatoes crispy!)
Drain and dry the potatoes and return to the bowl. Toss the potatoes with oil and seasoning of your choice, just enough to coat! I usually drizzle 3 tablespoons of oil or so on and sprinkle on a generous amount of spices.
Place the fries in the airfryer basket in one layer. If making a large batch then you will want to cook in batches. Airfry at 400 for 12 minutes. Flip and airfry another 6-7 minutes or until crisp.
