Leftover Mac N Cheese Taco Bake

Leftover Mac N Cheese Taco Bake

Mac N cheese is jus the best! Everyone loves it, especially kids! Its the perfect comfort meal, cheesy and warm! There are so many ways to make it unique and delicious! I mean let's be honest.... do you really ever have any mac n cheese leftover?? IF you do.. this taco bake is a quick and easy dinner night that will please the whole family!

Let's get started!

    Eat Till It Hurts Friends!

    Ingredients

    • 2.5 cups prepared Mac n cheese (if you are making your own, add in 1/2 C sour cream)
    • 1 pack of taco seasoning
    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 C salsa
    • 1/4 C crushed tortillas
    • 1/2 C shredded cheese

    Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Have your Mac n cheese ready to go. If you are using my recipe, there is already sour cream in it. If you are preparing from a box or your own, add in the sour cream.

      2. Brown your meat and add in your taco seasoning. Get a 10x10 casserole dish, grease it and place half of the Mac n cheese on the bottom, add all the meat, half of the shredded cheese and top with remaining Mac n cheese.

      3. Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Remove and add salsa, crushed tortillas and remaining shredded cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
