No matter what time of year it is, there’s nothing like a refreshing iced latte to keep you caffeinated. If you’re tired of your usual iced coffee and looking for something a bit more special, an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte might be just what you need. This delightful drink combines the natural sweetness of honey with the warmth of cinnamon, creating a perfectly balanced beverage that’s both invigorating and comforting.

Let’s get started!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Natural Sweetness: Honey not only adds a rich, sweet flavor but also provides a touch of natural goodness, making this latte a healthier alternative to sugary syrups.
  • Warm Spices: Cinnamon brings a subtle spiciness that pairs beautifully with the robust flavor of coffee, making each sip a warm, aromatic experience.
  • Easy to Make: With just a few ingredients and simple steps, you can whip up this iced latte in minutes, right in the comfort of your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 shots of espresso or strong coffee
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Ice

How to Make an Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte

  1. Brew Your Coffee: Start by brewing a cup of your favorite coffee. Let it cool to room temperature, or place it in the fridge for a quicker chill.
  2. Mix the Honey and Cinnamon: Directly in your cup, combine the honey and ground cinnamon. Stir well until the cinnamon is fully incorporated into the honey. This step helps ensure that the cinnamon blends smoothly into your latte without clumping.
  3. Combine with Coffee: Pour the cooled coffee over the honey-cinnamon mixture. Stir thoroughly to mix the flavors.
  4. Add Milk: Slowly pour in the milk, stirring as you go. You can adjust the amount of milk to your taste—more for a creamier latte, less for a stronger coffee flavor.
  5. Add Ice: Fill the glass with ice cubes, giving it a final stir to ensure everything is well-mixed.
  6. Garnish and Serve: For an extra touch of indulgence, top your iced latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips and Variations

  • Make it Dairy-Free: Swap out regular milk for almond, oat, or coconut milk to create a delicious dairy-free version of this latte.
  • Spice it Up: Add a pinch of nutmeg or a drop of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor even further.
  • Sweetness Level: Feel free to adjust the amount of honey based on your sweetness preference. Start with 1 tablespoon if you prefer a less sweet drink.
