Easy Beef Lo Mein

Y’all asked for more Chinese take-out inspired meals and here it is! With just a few simple ingredients you can this easy lo mein right at home! There is very little prep time and very simple ingredients!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz noodles angel hair, fettuccini, egg noodles
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp corn starch
  • 1 lb. flank steak sliced thin
  • 2 large carrots sliced into long thin slices
  • 2 cup broccoli
  • 1/2 medium onion sliced
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Mix together the beef broth, brown sugar, soy sauce and corn starch. Set aside.
  2. Slice up carrots and onion and set aside with broccoli. Slice beef into very thin strips. Place sesame oil in a skillet and cook beef to your preference, remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Use the same skillet and sauté onions, carrots, garlic and broccoli with sesame oil until tender. While veggies are being sautéed, cook noodles.
  4. Add cooked beef back into the skillet with vegetables. Pour sauce over the ingredients and let them simmer for about 2 minutes.
  5. Once noodles are cooked, add them to the skillet and toss to evenly coat with the sauce. Top with sesame seeds and toss again if you desire.
    Enjoy!

Are you an apple or pumpkin girly? Spiced Apple Simmer Pot is incredible underneath the candle warmer. Also here is a tip for you, if you have any pumpkin shaped candles, save the jar to use for your simmer pots!

You need
Sliced apple
Tbsp cloves
Cinnamon stick 
Vanilla extract
Water
Mix altogether in a bowl and place under your candle warmer and enjoy the smell!
