One of the easiest dinner nights! Whether you use frozen or fresh meatballs, this dish is perfect. I like to make a big batch of meatballs and freeze them! You can find my easy meatball recipe here.

Also- I like to add more minced garlic, we can’t get enough!

Let’s get started!

Cheesy Meatball Sliders

Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 20 minutes mins
Total Time 30 minutes mins
Servings: 4
Course: Appetizer, dinner, Main Course, side
Cuisine: American
Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 12 Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • 12 meatballs frozen or fresh
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasonings
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 clove of garlic minced

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375˚F.
  2. Mix the butter, Italian seasonings, salt and minced garlic and melt to make the garlic butter
  3. Arrange the rolls in a pan and use a serrated knife to cut a hole out of the middle of each roll. Brush the tops and side the hole with the garlic butter mixture evenly. Bake for 6 minutes to melt the butter and toast the rolls. Then remove from oven.
  4. Mix the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Use half the cheese to place a small amount in each of the holes in the rolls. Stuff a meatball into the hole (if using frozen, thaw the meatballs, I like to simmer in the sauce) on top of the cheese, then spread on the sauce. Sprinkle the remaining half of the cheese over the top of the sandwiches.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are hot and the cheese is melted.
    Enjoy!

I had only moved there 3 months prior to start over and really find myself. I had this random idea pop into my head to start a business, I was going to teach myself how to paint, create handmade items and sell them locally. I put zero thought into the name and decided to call my business “The Sassy Barn”.

10 years later, The Sassy Barn has surpassed my dreams. To our customers, retailers and my family and friends (who would buy from the trunk of my car at family reunions 😂), I can’t thank you enough for your business and support. I can’t wait to see what else this journey holds ❤️
