Pumpkin Spice syrup is an easy way to take your coffee, tea or latte to the next level for fall! I have been making an easy syrup for years with simple ingredients!
Let’s get started!
Ingredients
Method
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the pumpkin puree, ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves, water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to make sure the sugar dissolves and pumpkin puree is blended in.Remove from heat. Pour through a fine mesh strainer and into an airtight container like a glass jar or bottle. The strainer will help remove any sediments from the pumpkin spice simple syrup, if needed. Let cool then seal and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
How to Use Your Pumpkin Spice Syrup
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte: Add 1-2 tablespoons of the syrup to your coffee or espresso, then top with steamed milk for a homemade PSL.2. Drizzle Over Pancakes or Waffles: Elevate your breakfast game by drizzling the syrup over pancakes, waffles, or French toast.3. In Cocktails: Add a touch of fall to your favorite cocktails by incorporating this syrup into your drink recipes.4. In Oatmeal: Stir a spoonful into your morning oatmeal for a cozy start to the day.5. As a Dessert Sauce: Drizzle over vanilla ice cream, apple pie, or even a slice of pumpkin bread.
