This easy dish is the perfect "Chinese take out" dinner without having to actually grab take out. I love making Chinese dishes at home and have been craving my honey garlic chicken for a few weeks!
The flavor from the raw honey and garlic combined with the chicken thighs makes this dish a crowd pleaser. Add some broccoli to the sauce and pair with some rice and your set!
Whisk together all of the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside for later.
Cut chicken into pieces. Evenly sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Get your broccoli cut as well.
Put the chicken pieces in a bowl and add the flour, thoroughly coat the chicken evenly.
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the flour coated chicken. Cook for about five minutes, flip the pieces over and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add the cut broccoli florets cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add in your sauce and cook until sauce thickens.
While sauce is thickening, get your rice cooked. Once sauce is thick sprinkle on the sesame seeds to chicken and broccoli.
Serve over rice.
