Where are my southerners at?! I'm so proud to have southern roots. My mama was born and raised in the south as well as my husband and I absolutely love the southern style cooking that my family has taught me over the years.
Biscuits & gravy are a favorite in our family, but I don't always see it so easy to make and take anywhere. I decided to make it into a casserole a few years ago and it's been a hit ever since!
This crockpot meal is sure to be a crowd pleaser. With tossing all the ingredients into the crockpot, it's little to no hassle! This recipe can also be doubled for a larger crowd!

Ingredients
1 can of biscuits
1 pound ground sausage (mild or hot)
8 eggs
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups milk
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
To Make Sausage, Egg, & Biscuits:
Brown sausage and drain well, set aside.
Coat inside of crockpot well with nonstick cooking spray or wipe down with vegetable oil.
Combine eggs, sausage, and cheese. Season to your liking with salt and pepper, then pour into prepared crockpot.
Cut biscuits into small bite-sized pieces, and place on top of the egg mixture.
Cook on high for 2.5 hours or on low for 3.5 hours.
To Make Gravy:
In a small saucepan, whisk butter and flour together until it just begins to turn a golden brown. Add in milk, salt, and pepper, and stir frequently over medium-high heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce to a simmer until thickened.
