I SWORE I would next own an air fryer... it’s true! I didn’t want one more kitchen gadget in my kitchen and kept telling myself I’d never use the thing. WRONG! I’ve had my air fryer from GoWise USA for 3 weeks and have used it just about every day. I bought the 7qt air fryer with the dehydrator and LOVE IT!
Ok, let me get back to dinner... this is THE BEST chicken Parmesan I’ve ever made. No really... THE BEST... all because of the air fryer and not having to deal with the grease!
Let’s get started!
Prep Time20 minutes
Cook Time12 minutes
Total Time32 minutes
4 pieces of chicken, thinly cut into slices
1 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese
2 cups pasta sauce (1 cup if not making noodles)
your choice of pasta
1. Place your chicken on a plate and pat it dry. Season with salt and pepper and coat in flour. In a medium bowl mix together the breadcrumbs, In another bowl whisk the eggs together.
2. Dip each piece of chicken in egg and then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat with remaining pieces of chicken.
3. Place chicken breasts in single layer inside of air fryer basket. Spray with olive oil. If you are using a smaller air fryer you will need to cook in batches. Cook at 350 for 7 minutes. Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for another 3 minutes, then top with sauce and cheese. Air fry for an addition 3-4 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degree F.
