Pizza Night is a weekly (sometimes twice a week) thing in our house. Austin and I both love a variety of pizza toppings so we like to do our own personal pizzas. My favorite way to make a pizza is on the grill, the flavor is amazing! I use Naan bread as the crust which gets nice and crispy on the grill, but use any pizza crust or homemade crust you prefer!
Let's get started!
1. Turn the grill on to medium heat and let heat up. Lay your naan out on a pan and spread your pizza sauce on, I like to make sure it's almost completely covered, leaving the edges uncovered.
2. Next sprinkle on the cheese, I love a blend of cheeses, such as cheddar, parmesan, italian cheese blend (cheese is life)
3. Lay on the toppings! What will it be? Pepperoni? Ground Sausage? Veggie Style? Ultimate Meat Lovers? Get creative!
4. Place your pizza on the grill and let cook on medium heat for 12 minutes or until cheese is melted all the way through.
Naan is a great bread to use that does not stick the grill. If you are using a pizza dough, make sure to spray the grill and grill your crust first and then build your pizza while the crust is on the grill. Dough take extra time to cook and will need to be cooked different then the naan!
