I LOVE chicken wings! They are one of my favorite appetizer dishes or main dishes served with a salad. I started making them at home a few years ago and have found a way to bake them where I don’t have to deal with grease or buy an air fryer and I get perfect crispy wings every time. Im also an easy sauce recipe that I use for the wings!
Preheat oven to 250F. Dry the wings thoroughly with paper towels. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, then place a rack on the foil. Spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray.
Toss the wings with baking powder and salt. Place the wings on the baking tray in a single layer. They don’t have to be very spaced.
Place wings on the middle oven rack and bake for 30 minutes.
Increase the oven temperature to 425 F. Bake for 30- 40 minutes and flip the wings halfway through.
While the wings are finishing baking, in a large mixing bowl, mix together the melted butter, Franks red hot and bbq sauce.
Remove the wings and toss with the sauce in a large bowl or serve sauce on the side.
