I hope you’ve got a coffee or tea in hand and are ready for some fun! I’ve created a space for you to not only stay updated on new shop items, but to find weeknight meals cleaning tips and DIYs.
I mean let’s be honest…. do you really ever have any mac n cheese leftover?? Especially if you’re using my recipe?! (I just tooted my own horn a little bit there) IF you do.. this taco bake is a quick and easy dinner night that will please the whole family!
Let’s get started!
Ingredients
2.5 cups prepared Mac n cheese (if you are making your own, add in 1/2 C sour cream)
1 pack of taco seasoning
1 pound ground beef
1 C salsa
1/4 C crushed tortillas
1/2 C shredded cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Have your Mac n cheese ready to go. If you are using my recipe, there is already sour cream in it. If you are preparing from a box or your own, add in the sour cream.
Brown your meat and add in your taco seasoning. Get a 10×10 casserole dish, grease it and place half of the Mac n cheese on the bottom, add all the meat, half of the shredded cheese and top with remaining Mac n cheese.
Cover and bake for 15 minutes. Remove and add salsa, crushed tortillas and remaining shredded cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
