I hope you’ve got a coffee or tea in hand and are ready for some fun! I’ve created a space for you to not only stay updated on new shop items, but to find weeknight meals cleaning tips and DIYs.
Tis the season y’all! And what better way to kick off the season than with a holiday home tour with some of my favorite bloggers?!
This season I was really wanting to keep things simple in the house and add touches or rustic vintage goodness. I also surprised myself this year with all the reds I added. I am not a red girl, but the red buffalo check was just calling me! Once I got the touches of red added throughout the house, I realized I’ve been missing out all these seasons!
One of the first rooms in my home tour is our living room.We have a small face, so I really try to make the most of the space without having it look cluttered. In my hopes of going for a simple look, I also repurposed and reused a lot of items from around my home.
If you visited my fall tour you’ll notice these old vintage doors. They remain in the corner and I switched them up with each season. My wreath is from Kirkland’s and I love how big and full it is. Their wreaths hold up so well! I also wanted to carry on with my rustic theme with the galvanized buckets and used an old vintage garden bucket for the base of the tree. Click here for the holiday flowers bucket. They come in a set of 3!
I went with a more wintery glitter theme in this area of the living room, which truthfully, I think I think I will leave up through the winter months. The sign along from OhSweetSkye is perfect for my neck of the woods, considering we see snow until May! My husband and I love collecting antlers and I think they make a great statement piece in the vintage crate.
Most of the items you’ll see in the next pictures are from junk in trips I’ve gone on. I always get asked tips on how to find vintage pieces or where to buy, and although I plan to do a blog post on where and how to junk, my biggest response is always, look in the paper for barn sales, auctions and even facebook market place!
In our bedroom, I really wanted to focus on comfy cozy. Especially since there is nothing like being cozied up while it’s snowing outside, and here in Wyoming, we see a ton of snow! I kept the bedding that I bought from Anthropologie and added in plaids to give it that feel. The decor I kept simple, adding a few fun Pom Pom garlands from Adams & Company, and a new sign from GracieLouDesigns.
My favorite part in the bedroom is the tree! This was actually my very first tree from walmart that I purchased 10 years ago! Best purchase ever and it has held up so well. There is nothing like the warm glow of a Christmas tree while you snuggle up at night!
I love wood tones and greens in our dining room. I added a lot of natural items to this part of our home and even some pine cones that were littered in the yard. Such an easy and fun filler! The sign is from my friend Naella at The Country Barn
Austin and I had so much fun decorating the dining room and adding our first cut tree. We hiked in a beautiful area in Boulder, Wyoming for it and it was one of the prettiest days. The fresh pine smell is amazing and beats any candle I could burn. We love to have the tree lights on at night for a nice quiet dinner.
Lastly, I added some fun vintage pieces to the table. Vintage burlap stockings from Vintage Farmhouse Interiors I have on my wood slices and am using them as utensil holders. I also found inexpensive buffalo check napkins from Pier 1. The centerpiece is a beautiful live arrangement from Lynch Creek Farms, and wow, do they do an amazing job! I placed it in one of my old sifters to make more of a statement with it.
I am so glad you joined me on the tour and I hope you find inspiration for your own decor! Be sure to check out my Instagram stories to see all the hosts and head below to each blogger and see their home tour!
Have a great holiday season, y’all!!
