Fall is in the air y’all and I am really loving the rusty orange, sage and mustard colors this season. I am so excited to be part of a Fall Home Decor Tour with a few other blogger pals of mine and show you how we have styled each of our homes.
Here is a look at some of the fall items in my home. I have linked where to find some of the pieces in the pictures for you!
I mixed in some chippy sage green chairs that were used for our sweetheart table to give a more rustic cozy feel and added this chunky faux fur blanket.
I get a lot of questions about the guest bedroom and this style of bed. This was actually handed down to me when I was a little girl, but the great news is I have found some similar styles! This black one is the perfect farmhouse style bed, but I am also loving this white one! The signs on the wall are from my dear friend Naella @thecountrybarn on IG. You will see that I have a few of her signs and you can go here to her shop!
Another popular area in the guest bedroom that I get a lot of questions about is my green dresser and vintage telephone chair. Would you believe it that I pulled the dresser out of an abandoned house?! You’re probably wondering what I was doing in an abandoned house.. well we had one on our property and it was filled with vintage goodies (I know, what are the odds?!) I saw the dresser, pulled it out, and gave it a good wash and kept it as is! That is it’s original color and all. The telephone chair is also it’s original color and is from the 1950’s. I love pairing both of these pieces together and think they make for great conversation pieces!
This was one of my favorite parts of decorating for fall, I took some old window shutters, took them apart and turned them into a table runner!
I’m a collector of old doors and love to decorate them throughout the season. I found this wreath at Kirklands last year and it has continued to be a favorite this year. The sign in the middle of the wreath is also from Naella and it’s one of my favorite quotes. Click here for this sign! The fall foliage comes from The Faded Farmhouse in Nashville along with some from Hobby Lobby. I love the details in the fall leaves from The Faded Farmhouse and have carried the orange rust theme throughout the house.
Our bedroom was one of my favorite spaces to decorate this fall. The sign is from a company called OhSweetSkye and her sign fits in beautifully in this space. I took some metal candle wall sconces from Pottery Barn to give it more of a romantic feel and love how everything ties together. My bedding is from Anthropologie and the cover is so versatile for any time of year.
