Are you looking for an appetizer that’s a perfect mix of creamy, sweet, and spicy? This whipped brie with cranberry jalapeño relish is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Ideal for holiday gatherings or any time you want to impress, this dish combines the luxurious texture of whipped brie with the bold flavors of cranberry and jalapeño.
In a food processor add your cranberries, green onion, jalapeño, lime juice and a drizzle of honey. Pulse until you have a relish like consistency (finely chopped but not too fine)
Take the relish out and add to a bowl and place in the fridge. Rinse your food processor.
Take your brie and cut the rind off the brie cheese. Once all of the rind is removed, cut the brie into cubes. Place the cubes into the food processor and pulse. After a couple of minutes scrape down the sides. The cheese will be stiff, sticky and a bit gummy.
Continue to whip the cheese on low and scraping down the sides of the bowl every couple of minutes. It can take up to 10 minutes for the brie cheese to lighten in texture. The cheese is done when the brie is soft and similar in texture to whipped butter.
Spread your whipped brie into a shallow bowl and top with the cranberry jalapeño relish. Drizzle more honey on top and serve with your favorite crackers. This is so easy and delicious!
Tip! Make the relish a day in advance, this allows all the flavors to really marinate and it is perfect the next day.
