I hope you’ve got a coffee or tea in hand and are ready for some fun! I’ve created a space for you to not only stay updated on new shop items, but to find weeknight meals cleaning tips and DIYs.
If you’re looking to add a cozy, rustic vibe to your home decor, DIY twine balls are an easy, affordable, and fun project! Twine balls are great for table centerpieces, hanging decor, or even filling decorative bowls. Plus, they’re customizable, allowing you to mix colors, sizes, and textures to fit any room’s aesthetic. Let’s get started!
I blew up a few balloons in various sizes and then took a brush and one at a time, I covered the balloons with mod podge. Then I took my jute string and wrapped it around the balloon until I had the desired consistency that I wanted. You want it to be pretty thick around the balloon.
I took my brush and mod podge again, and carefully covered the jute string in the mod podge. And then I moved onto the next balloon until I was done. I let them dry overnight, the mod podge will dry clear.
The next day, I popped the balloon and carefully made sure to remove it from the jute string and then pulled it out. I added a string of fairy lights to each ball and they make the perfect holiday decor!
THESE are the twinkle lights I used!
