I hope you’ve got a coffee or tea in hand and are ready for some fun! I’ve created a space for you to not only stay updated on new shop items, but to find weeknight meals cleaning tips and DIYs.
It is officially that time of year again! With Thanksgiving and Christmas among the horizon there is always an abundance of holiday parties to attend. Hosting parties can be so fun, but also a little stressful. Here are some of my favorite tips to make hosting more fun and throw a party people will be talking about for months!
People love to gather around food, drinks, and comfortable seating. Design your space to have clear pathways and cozy clusters where guests can chat or grab refreshments. If possible, create multiple stations for drinks, food, and activities to prevent crowding in one area.
Offer a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to cater to everyone’s tastes. Consider a self-serve drink station with fun mixers, garnishes, and mocktail options, so guests can customize their drinks. If you have a signature cocktail or punch, make it in a big batch for easy serving.
Music can make or break the vibe, so take time to curate a playlist that matches the energy you want for the party. For holiday parties it is always fun to have a christmas music playlist playing in the background!
Finger foods are a party staple, so plan a mix of easy-to-eat options. Some crowd-pleasers include mini sandwiches, charcuterie boards, and veggie platters. To make the hosting easy I always recommend doing potlucks! Everyone bringing a different dish is a great way to have plenty of food without being too costly on just one person.
My go to pick is usually a No Bake Pumpkin Pie! It tastes delicious and is easy to throw together. You can view it at the end of this post!
Pro Tip: These are my favorite pans ever to cook with! They’re non-toxic and so good.
Games and activities are great for adding energy to the party. You don’t need anything elaborate—a simple card game, trivia, or a photo booth with props can be enough to entertain guests and increase the mood!
Little touches can go a long way in making your party memorable. Think scented candles, cozy blankets for outdoor gatherings, or festive decorations that tie back to the theme.
I am so in love with these Turkey tea lights! They are so cute for Thanksgiving and would be perfect on a table setting with name tags.
It’s easy to get caught up in hosting duties, but don’t forget to enjoy your own event. It can be hard to sit down thinking about all the upcoming cleaning, but try to sit back and enjoy everything as best as possible!
I love to cook... but baking? I can mess up even the most simple of recipes! I’m always looking for easy desserts that I can take along or pull out when we have guests and no fail pies are my jam!
This pie is perfect for Friendsgiving and thanksgiving! And EASY!
Let’s get started!
