Ya know… for not being such a sweets person, I’m digging these homemade lattes that y’all are requesting! I think I don’t like lattes from coffee shops because of all the sugar, but with this homemade latte I can add as little or as much as I like!
If you are not a coffee drinker I suggest substituting the coffee for a chai. And if you don’t like dairy, try coconut or almond milk!
Let’s get started!
- 3/4 C milk
- 3/4 C coffee
- 2 T vanilla extract
- 2 T caramel sauce
- Start by warming up your milk in a pot. Do not let it burn, keep it on low. Next add in the vanilla and caramel and let the caramel melt completely into the liquid.
- Add in the coffee and let it warm up for another 2 minutes.
- Serve in your favorite mug with some whipped cream!
